Absorbed energy in heterogeneous tissue

Hi all,

For a photodynamic therapy project I would like to compute the absorbed energy. I saw that you have the AOfRhoAndZ detector for this.

However, for the project at hand it is probably necessary to compute absorbed energy in non-circular symmetric configurations. Does that output of AOfRhoAndZ still make sense then? Or is there a smart way to compute it from the RadianceOfXAndYAndZAndThetaAndPhi?

Thanks,

Martijn

Hi Martijn,
You could use FluenceOfXAndYAndZ and then multiply the voxelized results by the corresponding mua for that voxel.

Hi Carole,

That looks like a very easy solution.

Thanks!
